The IPADA Celebrations 2026 have released a rich and diverse programme of events designed to attract participants from across Africa and the global diaspora.
Scheduled to hold from December 3rd to December 6th, 2026, at La Campagne Tropicana Beach Resort, the celebration promises a thrilling blend of culture, tourism, business networking, entertainment, sports, and rebirth magic.
The event will commence on Thursday, December 3rd with the arrival of guests from 12 noon, followed by registration activities and Beach Olympics registration.
Participants will enjoy a guided tour of the resort before gathering in the evening for a spectacular beach bonfire experience featuring African drums and the showcase of five of Africa’s most powerful ancient kingdoms.
Friday, December 4th will focus on business, history, and cultural excellence.
Activities include the highly anticipated Business Unusual Conference, a beachfront buffet dinner, and the Nefertiti Queen of Africa Pageant Ambassador Competition.
Guests will also witness “Odigbose,” a dramatic presentation exploring one of Africa’s earliest accounts of slavery and resilience.
The main celebration takes center stage on Saturday, December 5th, with opening ceremonies, keynote addresses, and thought-provoking discussions under the theme: “Why is Africa, the Wealthiest Continent, the Poorest?”
The day will feature a grand carnival procession and the Africa International Music Festival, bringing together live performances representing all 55 African countries.
The festivities will continue with drama, comedy, spoken word performances, and a breathtaking fireworks display.
On Sunday, December 6th, participants will experience what organizers describe as “Breakfast Unusual” which is dining and adventure featuring horseback riding, camel riding, boat regatta activities, mini carnivals, and kayaking.
The day will also include an African Naming Ceremony, Beach Olympics competitions, swimming, beach and water volleyball, soccer, traditional games, lawn tennis, table tennis, African dance showcases, and other recreational activities.
A major highlight will be the Blossom Retreat, a mentorship and empowerment programme designed for young female executives, entrepreneurs, NYSC members, and tertiary institution students.
Other activities include a tree-planting initiative, the Yoruba Experience cultural showcase, and the presentation of prizes to Beach Olympics winners.
According to organizers, the early release of the programme is intended to give prospective participants, tourists, investors, cultural enthusiasts, and members of the African diaspora ample time to plan for what is expected to be one of Africa’s largest cultural and tourism gatherings in 2026.
