The Taraba State Government, in partnership with La Campagne Tropicana Lake Resort, has officially announced the provision of 110 hectares of land for Africans across the continent, Africans in the diaspora, and lovers of Africa willing to reconnect with their roots.
The initiative, described as a major step toward cultural reintegration and economic expansion, is part of the broader vision of IPADA, The Return, a movement designed to encourage Africans in the diaspora to return, invest, and settle in Africa.
The allocated land, strategically located just five minutes from the world-renowned Agro Eco-Tourism Heritage Resort in Ibi, Taraba State, offers a unique opportunity for cultural immersion, investment, and sustainable living.
The development is expected to serve as a hub for tourism, heritage preservation, and diaspora engagement.
Speaking during an inspection visit to the project site, the Honourable Commissioner for Heritage and Ecotourism, Joseph Titus Nagombe stated that the land is specifically designated for Africans in the diaspora and global lovers of African heritage who are ready to return and contribute to the continent’s growth.
La Campagne Tropicana Lake Resort, widely recognized for its Agro Eco-Tourism Heritage brand, continues to expand its footprint in Ibi, Taraba State, bringing with it a model that blends tourism, culture, and sustainable development.
