Former President of the Libya Chamber of Commerce and founder of one of Libya’s largest aviation schools, Mohammed Fazzani, has expressed interest in partnering with Nigerian tourism entrepreneur, Otunba Wanle Akinboboye, to promote aviation education and strengthen cooperation between Libya and Nigeria.
Speaking during his visit to Nigeria, Fazzani described the trip as his second to the country.
He explained that his first visit lasted about a week, during which he became acquainted with Otunba Akinboboye and visited his office.
According to him, the current visit is focused on exploring areas of collaboration, particularly in aviation education.
Fazzani revealed plans to establish an online aviation village and develop online educational programmes covering aviation and other fields of study.
He added that the success of the proposed projects would depend largely on his partnership with Otunba Akinboboye.
He commended Nigerians for their hospitality and respectful nature, stating that he had encountered no challenges during his stay.
He also appreciated the support provided to him, including access to internet facilities that enabled him to continue his work comfortably.
The Libyan aviation expert also spoke about his visit to Taraba State, describing it as a beautiful and unique destination with great tourism potential.
He urged the media to intensify publicity for the state, saying greater international promotion would attract visitors from across the world.
Fazzani further disclosed that his aviation institution is ready to share its expertise with Nigeria by facilitating educational exchange programmes.
He said the initiative would enable Libyan students to study in Nigeria while fostering stronger ties between the two African nations.
He also called on the Nigerian government to improve living conditions in rural communities through increased housing development and access to quality education.
He expressed a personal desire to contribute to the education of less privileged people, saying empowering underserved communities is one of his long-term goals.
According to him, stronger cooperation in education and aviation would help build lasting bridges between African countries and promote greater unity across the continent.
