Why Ekiti State Is a Standard Destination for Tourism Development

By Onyekachi Victoria Philip

Ekiti State is gradually emerging as one of Nigeria’s most promising tourism destinations because it combines breathtaking natural attractions, rich cultural heritage, modern infrastructure, agriculture, education, security, and hospitality in one compact state.

Unlike many destinations that rely on a single attraction, Ekiti offers visitors a complete tourism experience ranging from ecotourism and adventure to cultural, educational, wellness, and agricultural tourism.

A huge discovery was observed when founder of La Campagne Tropicana Beach Resort, Otunba Wanle Akinboboye arrived with former Libya chamber of commerce, Mohammed Fazzani  as they were taught about the wonders Ekiti state by the director general of the Ekiti state Bureau of tourism development, Ambassador Wale Ojo Lanre.
