There are many ways one can embark on a journey. Land. Sea. Air. As the world of transportation continues to advance, so does the accessibility to La Campagne Tropicana Forest, River & Beach Resort, Ibeju-Lekki.
When Otunba Olawanle Akinboboye envisioned the concept of an African-themed resort, he also bore in mind the ease of access. Looking at the map of Lagos State, one would observe that La Campagne Tropicana is located on the outskirts of Lagos.
Data from Traffic Radio 96.1 shows that commuters in Lagos currently spend an average of about 3.5 hours daily in traffic. What this means is that there’s been persistent gridlock across the major corridors of the city.
Few people are aware that this road traffic experience can be avoided. In the ongoing development section of La Campagne Tropicana Phase 3, a helipad has been built and is currently in use to fly in guests from within and outside Lagos to the resort.
The rhythmic whirl of helicopter blades landing at the resort makes you instantly forget the familiar hustle and bustle of Lagos for an unforgettable experience with nature.
The main idea behind launching this project was to highlight the beauty and culture of Africa in an authentic and eco-friendly way. La Campagne Tropicana has been regularly questioning what is considered “fun” or “leisure time” .
The pathways, waterfronts, performances that reflect the local culture, and even the smallest architectural details all show how this place celebrates African culture while at the same time offering excellent customer hospitality.
The helicopter journey perfectly complements that philosophy.
