Otunba Olawanle Akinboboye, the Founder and President of La Campagne Tropicana Forest, River & Beach Resort has been invited to participate in the 2026 Global Entrepreneurship Festival (GEF) as a Special Guest and Distinguished Speaker.
Otunba Olawanle Akinboboye who also doubles as the convener of East West Africa Amalgamation is also expected to be presented with the Global Recognition Award 2026. A distinguished award that seeks to celebrate and promote entrepreneurship.
The invitation, issued by the Global Entrepreneurship Festival Board and signed by its Chairman, Dan Walkovitz, recognises Otunba Akinboboye’s contributions to tourism, hospitality, entrepreneurship and the promotion of African cultural heritage.
According to the invitation, Otunba Olawanle Akinboboye’s leadership in developing distinctive hospitality experiences and advancing tourism entrepreneurship offers valuable insights into the role of indigenous enterprises in driving economic growth and creating sustainable opportunities.
The Global Entrepreneurship Festival 2026 is scheduled to hold from November 6 to 8 at the JW Marriott Hotel, Cairo, Egypt, under the theme, “The World We Help to Create.”
The organisers describe the festival as a global entrepreneurship platform expected to convene more than 10,000 participants from over 70 countries, with 100-plus exhibitors and an estimated global audience of 10 million viewers.
The festival is also being hosted under the auspices of Egypt’s Prime Minister, Dr Mostafa Madbouly, with Alhaji Aliko Dangote serving as Grand Patron.
Among the distinguished personalities expected at the gathering are Shahira Magdy Zeid, H.E. Lujaina Mohsin Haider Darwish, Mohamed Mansour and Mohamed Aboul Enein, alongside other prominent business leaders and international stakeholders.
