To a father who looks after the growth of everyone around him as though they were his own,
A father whose footsteps we follow, whose accuracy we study, and whose wisdom continues to teach us that greatness is not achieved by chance.
To a father whose dogged spirit we have rarely seen matched, a man who stood firm through the tests of time, challenges and temptations, yet refused to abandon the vision of building a legacy that would outlive him.
A father whose years cannot simply be measured by numbers, because his 68 years have carried the weight of decades of impact, awards, recognitions and achievements that only tell a fraction of the story of his journey.
A father who nurtured talents with his hard-earned resources, giving opportunities to others as though he personally moulded them from sculpture and sand.
A father who teaches discipline without killing creativity, who demands excellence while creating room for people to discover themselves, and who instils the courage to dream, create and become better.
A father whose heart rises above tribal boundaries, who sees the person before the tribe, the potential before the background, and humanity before every difference.
A giant who does not merely speak of Africa but continues to manifest his vision through culture, tourism, entertainment and security.
A man whose life has become a testimony that one determined person can plant seeds that grow into institutions, opportunities and legacies.
And no wonder the name Akinboboye carries such profound meaning…“valour returned with honour.”
For indeed, here stands a man whose courage has returned with honour, whose vision has returned with impact, whose sacrifices have returned as legacies, and whose journey continues to inspire generations.
Born on August 16th, 1958, today we celebrate not merely another birthday, but 68 years of a life that has continued to give, build, nurture, inspire and create impact.
May the years ahead bring even greater strength, greater wisdom, greater fulfilment and greater impact.
May you thrive through hundreds of years, not merely with long life, but with a life continually filled with purpose, relevance, joy and extraordinary impact.
