Popular Nigerian content creator and daughter of actress Iyabo Ojo, Priscilla Ojo, and her Tanzanian singer husband, Juma Jux, have finally revealed the face of their son as he clocks one today, August 24th, 2026 amid controversies.
The couple, who had kept their son’s face away from the public since his birth, shared his photographs on their respective social media pages to celebrate his first birthday.
The development comes amid the ongoing #FreeJumaJux controversy, which erupted after Juma Jux made a public appearance at the wedding celebration of popular content creators Jarvis and Peller.
His noticeably slimmer appearance sparked reactions online, particularly among some Tanzanian fans, who questioned his wellbeing and alleged that Priscilla was not taking proper care of him.
The reactions eventually gave rise to the #FreeJumaJux campaign, with some social media users calling on Priscilla to “free” the singer.
Priscilla, however, appeared unfazed by the criticism as she responded to several trolling comments with sarcasm of her own.
She repeatedly engaged commenters, particularly some Tanzanians, who asked her to release Juma Jux.
The controversy took another turn when Kenyan socialite and Juma Jux’s former girlfriend, Huddah Monroe, resurfaced old videos and photographs showing moments she shared with the Tanzanian singer during their past relationship.
Huddah’s posts generated another wave of reactions online, with social media users linking the resurfaced footage to the ongoing controversy surrounding Juma Jux and Priscilla.
Amid the series of controversies, Juma Jux has maintained that his slimmer appearance was intentional, while Priscilla has continued to publicly project confidence in their relationship.
