Like a blazing star September arrived at La Campagne Tropicana Forest, River & Beach Resort.

And like the evening Sun, September left behind a collection of moments that will linger long after the month has ended.

For guests, it was a period where business, leisure, culture and nature came together to create experiences that went beyond the ordinary.

The resort welcomed a diverse mix of visitors, including members of Kulture Talent, corporate guests from KPMG, families, friends and international visitors seeking an authentic taste of African hospitality.

Each group brought its own energy to the resort, adding to the vibrant atmosphere that characterised the month.

For international guests, the visit offered an opportunity to experience Africa from a different perspective. Beyond the comfort of the resort, they encountered the landscape, cuisine, culture and community that make La Campagne distinctive.

One of the most fascinating experiences came from the interaction between the Oso River and the lagoon.

During the period when the Oso River was drained into the lagoon, the changing water level created a unique opportunity for guests to witness the fishing activities of the neighbouring villagers. As the river emptied into the lagoon, local fishermen took advantage of the conditions to cast their nets and pursue their catch.

From the resort, guests were able to watch the villagers at work, turning a natural process into an impromptu cultural experience. What they saw was not a staged attraction, but a glimpse into the everyday livelihood of a community whose way of life is closely connected to the river and lagoon.

The experience offered visitors a deeper appreciation of the environment surrounding La Campagne. The river was not simply part of the scenery; it was an important part of the local economy, culture and daily life.

KPMG’s presence brought a corporate touch to the resort, while other visitors explored the beach, forest, riverfront and recreational offerings.

What emerged throughout the month was a distinctive blend of relaxation and discovery. Guests were not simply checking into a resort; they were encountering a landscape, a culture and a community.
