The thunder of the talking drum travelled far beyond Nigeria as sensational performer Ara Thunder delivered a memorable performance in Ethiopia during the East-West Africa Amalgamation programme.
From the moment she took the stage, the rhythm of her drum commanded attention. What began as a performance quickly became a celebration of African identity, heritage and artistic expression.
The East-West Africa Amalgamation programme was designed around tourism, trade and creative arts, bringing together stakeholders from countries including Nigeria, Ethiopia, Ghana and Kenya.
In Ethiopia, Ara Thunder did more than entertain. She carried a distinctly Nigerian sound into an international African gathering, allowing the talking drum to become a bridge between cultures.
And as the final beats echoed through the venue, one message remained unmistakable: Africa’s cultural wealth becomes even more powerful when Africans share it with one another.
